Chebucto Community Net Board Meeting
July 16, 1996

Present: David Trueman, Joan Macintosh, Joan Brown Hicks, Bernie Hart, 
Ben Armstrong, Rob Currie

The agenda was approved.
It was moved by Ben  and seconded by Bernie  that we approve in principal 
the editorial policies included in the previously posted draft, subject 
to the changes discussed. Motion carried.  Ben will repost these polices 
with changes.
David was invited to make a presentation of C-Suite in Ottawa this week. 
Progress was made towards securing the funding but more meetings and work 
is still needed.

Internet Provider contract: No development yet to report. David has been 
unable to meet with Atlantic Connect. While he is on holiday, Rob will 
try to arrange a meeting, to include a representative from Windsor, and 
David Murdock. 

Sharon Macdonald has resigned from the board. JoanM has written her to 
thank her for her involvement. 

It was moved by Bernie and seconded by David that we approve the minutes 
of the June 18th and July 9th meetings. Motion carried.

Next  meeting : planned for Tuesday July 30th. Location to be announced.
