Item 7 AB(USE) OF DAL LABS JF raised the issue of the unauthorized use of the DAL computer labs by users of the CCN. This seems to have been encouraged by the authorized use of the DAL Labs as a site for CCN instruction. So as to continue this amicable relationship with DAL while at the same time not accepting any responsibility for the inappropriate actions of our members, Jan will write a letter to DAL and will make postings to the appropriate newsgroups requesting that our members refrain from this practice. Item 8 OUTREACH COMMITTEE Jan spoke about an outreach committee whose mandate would be to "spread the message" about the Community Net. Joan Mac went on to suggest that this was different from the communications committee in that it would be more "holistic". Matthew Wulfman and Carol Sin-Wulfman may wish to form part of this committee. JF and JB will speak about this matter and report back. Item 9 JF reported that she is fixing the BOARD page. Item 10 Regarding Cable in the schools, Bernie will follow up. Item 11 NEXT MEETING in 2 weeks 96-02-06 at JBH (Merkel Street)
