Chebucto Community Net Board Minutes
February 4, 1998

Present: David Trueman, Michael Colborne, Peter Mortimer, Peter Morgan, 
Joan Waldron, Joyline Makani, Ben Armstrong, Robert Currie, Doug Rigby, 
David Murdoch, Bernie Hart. 

Joan Waldron was given the go-ahead to investigate Mark Rushton taking the
lead on writing and producing the user's manual.

Doug Rigby proposed a bookkeepper review CCN's books. He also reprted that
CCN  is still solvent, and projections for the coming year are being
created.

Motion: Doug Rigby be empowered to spend up to $500 to have a review 
of CCN's books performed.
Moved:	 David Trueman; seconded:  Peter Morgan.  Carried.

Data on users needs to be compiled and accessed. Joan Waldron will see
about  getting the CCN survey information.


Motion: That the draft commercial policy prepared by Michael Colborne be 
adopted with the noted changes.

Moved:	Bernie Hart; seconded:  Joyline Makani.  Carried.

Joan Waldron will review the membership messages.

A meeting will be held to discuss the participation of large 
organizations in CCN.

IP committee work will focus on removing roadblocks to IPs, 
creating categories of IP memberships and donations for IPs. Peter 
Mortimer will lead this through committee.

The CCN AGM is tenatively scheduled for April 22 at 6:30.
